The sturdy steel housing is self-supporting and features an electrostatically applied polyester coating for optimal protection against corrosion. A set of vibration dampers is also included. The modified cooling grille on the outdoor unit helps air flow out better, thus increasing the efficiency of the heat exchanger and reducing the noise made by the unit. The outdoor unit has been designed with noise-insulating layers consisting of rubber and a filling mixture. This significantly reduces the overall noise emitted. Only three screws need to be removed for servicing. Ready-made handles for easy transportation and installation.
The directly driven BLDC axial fan is statically and dynamically balanced and therefore extremely quiet. The motor is protected by thermal contacts to prevent overheating. Compared to AC motors, the BLDC motor consumes up to 35% less energy at full speed. The new axial fan features reinforced outer edges and thin inner edges. The result: Improved efficiency and lower noise emissions. Thanks to the new design, new and larger fan blades are now being used. Furthermore, the airflow volume has been increased and fan efficiency optimised.
